CMNC organizes weekend chamber music workshops throughout the year for intermediate to advanced string, woodwind, and piano players. Our goal is to offer a fun and inspiring experience where musicians can hone their skills, explore the diverse chamber music repertoire and play with others in a positive and encouraging setting. One of the highlights of attending a CMNC workshop is the opportunity to be coached by professional coaches and musicians. Our talented coaches help you understand the music and elevate your playing as an ensemble. Each workshop also features an intimate coaches’ concert on Saturday afternoon where your coaches showcase their proficiency and interpretation of the music.
Applications are now closed for our June 6-7 workshop at College of Marin.

What people say …
“I absolutely loved the coaches both days - I learned so much! The atmosphere of camaraderie was just wonderful. This was my first time attending and I will definitely return.”
“CMNC is the E-Harmony of chamber music! They KNOW chamber music and you're sure to have a wonderful time even if you come "stag" (without a preformed group). I have been attending over the years and I always have a blast. There is thoughtfulness, care and a deep knowledge of the literature. Great music, great food, and great musicians. It doesn't get any better than this!"
“Our coach did a great job of working with the whole ensemble. Her comments across the board were insightful and helpful. In particular, her thoughts on dynamics and balance were really on-target.”
“The coaches’ concert was wonderful and inspiring.”
