Beginning players often ask how to gain more chamber music experience. Here is some time tested advice:

- Take introductory chamber music classes/workshops (see the Organizations and Classes page)
- Take private lessons or group chamber music lessons
- Form your own group and start playing regularly: look for players in your local orchestra, classes, or post on the CMNC Newsgroup
- Hire coaches for your group
- Attend concerts and/or listen to recordings. Many musicians play along with recordings, which can be slowed down if needed. (Youtube has a speed setting, and we also recommend “The Amazing Slower Downer” app.)
